YK - Yaniv Kahana - Software Consultant when not in the ocean, Van Dweller, addicted to movement from foiling to running to anything that makes the body move!

What sparked your interest in Foiling?
YK- The freedom of versatility with so many disciplines involved from wind to waves to flat water!
What was the learning curve like and if you could give one PRO tip what would it be ?
When starting with Wingfoiling it gave me a lot of time on the foil.. then FD isolated even more which helped me alot to improve a lot at quite fast pace, still a lot to improve but that's fun part of the journey!
What is your go to KT setup and why ?
Nomad 830 + 56 Fuse + 155 I find this setup lets me push the hardest I can and the span is wide enough to make some good tips, breach and slides as part of my style of riding that I'm trying to implement.
Tell us about which type of foiling you’re most into, what’s a standard session out foiling for you?
It's a good battle between Wingfoilng and FD. I guess I'm stoked about both when the condition fits for each one.. so basically it's a win win!
What is your next foiling adventure ? Aiming Brazil 2026!!!
