Manta5 Celebrates Pre-sale Launch

After beginning our first ever pre-sale on the 28th February 2018, we thought what better way to celebrate our success so far than with an official launch party. What was first planned to be a small staff celebration then grew to be a large event with more than 150 guests. We decided this would be the perfect opportunity to not only celebrate within the company but also with everyone who has been involved with and supported Manta5 over the past 7 years. The event took place on the on the 15th March 2018 at the Sir Don Rowland Centre which overlooks Lake Karapiro. It was the perfect location as we have done much of our testing and filming at the lake.

Our guests began arriving at 5.30pm which was followed with some mixing and mingling. After a few words from our CEO Greg, it was time to hear from our founder Guy who spoke of our journey thus far. Once our Prototype 7 was unveiled, it was time for our video star Jordy to head out on the bike to do a demonstration. The outlook from the event centre over the lake provided the perfect setting for the demo. Not to make things too easy for our riding pro Jordy, a boat headed out to create some waves to show how the bike handles the chop.

It was a lovely occasion to catch up with all our supporters and thank each of them for their dedication throughout the past 7 years. Thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate the evening with us, we look forward to celebrating more Manta5 milestones with you in the future!
