Riding at the GoPro Creator Summit – Western Australia

At the beginning of August, the Events team and Greg, Manta5 CEO, headed over Broome, Western Australia for the 2nd annual GoPro Creator Summit. Manta5 was invited to join 30 of GoPro’s top content creators to showcase the Hydrofoil Bikes in this stunning location.The team got some brilliant content and furthered the relationship between GoPro and Manta5.

The 4 day event was an epic trip for Manta5. Broome is a true hidden gem with few having heard of this corner of the earth prior to the Summit. Highlights include the unreal red and blue contrast (desert sand to ocean) in Roebuck Bay which was stunning. The surrounding area has a rich history that is unique and obscure, with things to see ranging from seeing 130 million year old dinosaur footprints to exploring the pearling industry.

While the white sandy beaches and turquoise blue water on Cable Beach made for an easy day’s work, the 4 foot waves definitely gave some seriously challenging riding conditions but overall the event was a great success.
