Product & Delivery Update
As we near shipping out the first ever hydrofoil bikes to our Kiwi customers, the team have never been busier and we couldn’t think of a better way to close what has been a massive 2019 for Manta5.
Our pilot production assembly is 90% complete with only the buoyancy modules still to be assembled before boxing the bikes for delivery. It has been all hands on deck with the whole team working full steam ahead to ensure that the experience is going to be awesome. Our validation engineers have landed back from Taiwan where they completed and successfully passed the final testing for EMC compliance (ElectroMagnetic Compatibility) for our pilot bike batteries. What this means is that our battery doesn’t emit a large amount of electromagnetic interference (known as radiated and conducted emissions) and that your Hydrofoiler battery will continue to function as intended in the presence of several electromagnetic phenomena.

Company Update
The team are heading back to the U.S. for CES, Las Vegas, (the largest consumer electronics show in the world) at the start of January (7th-10th) 2020. With several different journalists, product reviewers and more press lined up to meet the team and try out the Hydrofoiler – 2020 will begin with with a bang!
We have also started making headway on our Manta5 Riding Apparel (sneak peak below). A few of these pieces are being sent out alongside the NZ pilot bikes to get feedback and we can’t wait to launch this alongside other accessories (bike bag, foil bag & transportation wheel for the XE-1 and more) on our website in time for international deliveries in Summer 2020.
